Congratulations to grant writing student Isidoro Prado, who wrote two successful grant applications to the Texas Department of State Health Services on behalf of the Nueces County Health Department. These grants, totaling more than $90,000, are part of the Hurricane Crisis Cooperative and are intended to help prevent the spread of waterborne disease in times of crisis. Well done, Isidoro!
Isidoro is a student in the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program and was enrolled in the MPA Grant Writing course taught by Dr. Chuck Etheridge. Students in that course have had hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants funded. We still have seats open for Spring 2019 if you enroll now! Just on more example of our #IslanderImpact.
