New Water Quality Manager Receives License – City Manager Recognitions

From The City Employee Newsletter

Crystal Ybanez recently obtained her Class “A” Operator License. The Class “A” Water License had a 44% pass rate in the last quarter. In order to test, employees must have eight years of experience and more than 184 hours of training. Operators are responsible for ensuring our water supply meets all drinking water quality standards and are committed to protecting the public’s health and safety.

The City of Corpus Christi now has eight employees holding their Class “A” Water License. Crystal was also just promoted to Water Quality Manager.
