The time is here for citizens, business owners, schools and churches to join the City and take the pledge to
“Leave it Better than You Found It”
and clean up Corpus Christi!
Earlier today, Mayor Nelda Martinez announced details of the local anti-litter pledge and introduced the partners who are supporting the community driven program during a joint news conference. Some of the partners include; Stripes, La Palmera Mall, Del Mar College, the Regional Transit Authority and the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce. The partners and their employees began the process by taking the “Leave It Better” pledge. In order to help maintain their pledge commitment, these companies will post signs, posters and banners throughout the work place as constant reminders of how they are helping to make Corpus Christi the cleanest city on the Texas Gulf Coast.
It’s everyone’s responsibility, when you see trash lying around, pick it up and throw it away, or recycle it. Signing the pledge also makes you eligible to win prizes like ice chests, lunch bags and tumblers. To become a pledge partner or to sign the pledge, go to https://leaveitbettercc.com.
