Maybe I should rephrase that question. How do you manage the stress that comes with your position?
Experiencing stress is an inevitable part of life and your career and how you manage stress can influence how you experience success.
Train yourself to notice the symptoms of excessive stress. Are you having a hard time falling asleep at night? Are you exhausted and irritable? Notice the signs before stress gets out of hand.
Train yourself to be an optimist. Negative thoughts and “What if”s tear you down. Instead focus on actions you can take and combat ever negative thought with a hopeful statement
Train holistically. Don’t push, push, and push without taking time for recovery. Allowing for time to maintain your physical, mental, and emotional health will increase productivity and reduce stress.
